This exhibit uses an infrared camera and a monitor, the
camera is aimed at a wall with multiple types of materials on it
it. Since the various materials hold temperature differently,
some are cooler than others, and as a result are displayed
differently in the monitor. Also in front of the camera, are
guests! Guests can see the “hot spots” on their own selves as
they look into the monitor.By rubbing their arms, they can
cause friction and increase heat and this is also shown vividly
on the monitor. Interpretive information conveys the story of
our body temperature and why it increases to fight infections.
