Control this large working model of a hot air balloon by changing the temperature of the air inside to explore the ups and downs of ballooning. This exhibit can be used to discuss expansion of gasses, weather patterns and the history of flight. When a button is pushed, it increases the flame size thereby warming the air inside the balloon causing the balloon to rise.
