Light, One of the universes greatest wonders. Light is used every day and night, Whether it be from the sun or just an ordinary flashlight. Many of us have played with light before, such as flashlight tag, using a magnifying glass with the sun, or even just a simple laser pointer. But a new exhibit has emerged at called “Light Island”, which allows you to play with light like you have never experienced before.

Here is how it works. A 200-watt light source is placed on a center table in a dark room. Beams of white, red, green and blue light radiate out of this light chamber creating a multitude of beautiful colors, which can be manipulated by various objects like mirrors, lenses, prisms, and filters. Bend or mix light in many ways!

This new exhibit is a playground of beautiful optics, much worth its investment.
